A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; appropriating money for technical assistance grants to
certain community development financial institutions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANTS.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for technical assistance grants to certified
community development financial institutions that participate in United States Department
of Agriculture loan or grant programs for small or emerging farmers, including but not
limited to the Increasing Land, Capital, and Market Access Program.
