A bill for an act
 relating to state government; providing supplemental appropriations for the
Amateur Sports Commission and the Minnesota Historical Society.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AMATEUR SPORTS COMMISSION; MIGHTY DUCKS.

new text begin $8,000,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
Amateur Sports Commission for the purposes of making grants under Minnesota Statutes,
section 240A.09, paragraph (b). This appropriation is a onetime appropriation and is
added to the appropriations in Laws 2015, chapter 77, article 1, section 18, and Laws
2015, First Special Session chapter 5, article 1, section 9.

Sec. 2. new text begin MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY; DIGITAL PRESERVATION.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of the Minnesota Historical Society for digital preservation and access,
including planning and implementation of a program to preserve and make available
resources related to Minnesota history. This appropriation is a onetime appropriation and
is added to the appropriation in Laws 2015, chapter 77, article 1, section 23.
