relating to water; appropriating money for grant to Lower Minnesota River
Watershed District.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; LOWER MINNESOTA RIVER WATERSHED
DISTRICT.

new text begin $125,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $125,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for a grant to the Lower Minnesota
River Watershed District to defray the annual cost of operating and maintaining sites for
dredge spoil to sustain the state, national, and international commercial and recreational
navigation on the lower Minnesota River. The appropriations in this section are onetime.
