  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; increasing funding for the 
  1.3             low-income concentration grant program; appropriating 
  1.4             money; amending Laws 1995, First Special Session 
  1.5             chapter 3, article 15, section 26, subdivision 10. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1995, First Special Session chapter 3, 
  1.8   article 15, section 26, subdivision 10, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 10.  [LOW-INCOME CONCENTRATION GRANTS.] For 
  1.10  low-income concentration grants according to Laws 1994, chapter 
  1.11  647, article 8, section 43: 
  1.12       $1,150,000     .....     1996 
  1.13       $1,150,000     .....     1997 
  1.14       $2,100,000 
  1.15     Each grant shall be for no more than $75,000. 
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.17     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1996.
