relating to health; requiring the commissioner of health to conduct a communicable
disease vaccine study; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin COMMUNICABLE DISEASE VACCINE STUDY.

new text begin The commissioner of health shall conduct a study within the Somali communities in the
state comparing the incidents of conditions related to vaccines and vaccine-preventable
communicable diseases in children who have been vaccinated with children who have not
been vaccinated residing in the same communities.

Sec. 2. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
health to conduct the communicable disease vaccine study. This is a onetime appropriation.
