  1.2             relating to commerce; regulating sales of American 
  1.3             flags and related items; proposing coding for new law 
  1.4             in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 325E. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [325E.60] [SALE OF AMERICAN FLAGS.] 
  1.7      No person may sell or offer for sale in this state an 
  1.8   American flag or a novelty or other item containing a 
  1.9   representation of the American flag unless the flag or item is 
  1.10  manufactured in the United State of America. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
