  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money to Itasca county to construct a 
  1.4             trail head building at the start of the Taconite trail 
  1.5             in Itasca county. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [TRAIL HEAD BUILDING; ITASCA COUNTY.] 
  1.8      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $150,000 is appropriated 
  1.9   from the bond proceeds fund to Itasca county to construct a 
  1.10  trail head building at the start of the Taconite trail in Itasca 
  1.11  county. 
  1.12     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.13  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.14  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.15  of the state in an amount up to $150,000 in the manner, upon the 
  1.16  terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.17  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.18  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.19     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     Sections 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
