A bill for an act
 relating to human services; requiring the commissioner to notify the legislature
prior to the closure or transfer of an enterprise activity; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2006, section 246.0136, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 246.0136, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

than 120 days prior to closing or transferring an enterprise activity established within
this section, the commissioner of human services shall notify the chairs and ranking
minority members of the relevant senate and house of representatives finance and policy
committees and the legislative members representing the district where the enterprise
activity is located.
