  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to drivers' licenses; correcting effective 
  1.3             date of certain provision relating to driver's license 
  1.4             agents; amending Laws 1997, chapter 250, section 18. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 1997, chapter 250, section 18, is amended 
  1.7   to read: 
  1.8      Sec. 18.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.9      Sections 9; 10, subdivisions 5 and 6; 14; and 15 are 
  1.10  effective the day following final enactment.  Sections 9; 10, 
  1.11  subdivisions 1 to 4; 11; 12; 16; and 17 are effective January 1, 
  1.12  1999. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective retroactive to June 3, 1997.
