  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans; eliminating the sunset date for 
  1.3             the purchase of military service credit; amending Laws 
  1.4             2000, chapter 461, article 4, section 4, as amended. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Laws 2000, chapter 461, article 4, section 4, 
  1.7   as amended by Laws 2003, First Special Session chapter 12, 
  1.8   article 6, section 4, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Sec. 4.  [EFFECTIVE DATE; SUNSET REPEALER.] 
  1.10     (a) Sections 1, 2, and 3 are effective on the day following 
  1.11  final enactment. 
  1.12     (b) Sections 1, 2, and 3 are repealed on May 16, 2004. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
