relating to capital investment; appropriating money to construct offices and research
laboratories at two Agricultural Utilization Research Institute locations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AGRICULTURAL UTILIZATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture for a grant to the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) to acquire
property, construct, and equip offices and research laboratories and related infrastructure
at AURI's Crookston and Waseca facilities.
