A bill for an act
relating to health; providing an exemption for performance indicators used for
quality incentive payments; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.02,
by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62U.02, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin In determining quality incentive payments
under subdivision 2, vaccination of children shall not be used as a performance indicator
or quality indicator for rating providers. For purposes of this subdivision, provider has the
meaning given in section 62J.03, subdivision 8.
