A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating a segment of marked Trunk Highway 23 in
the city and town of Paynesville as Medal of Honor recipient Kenneth L. Olson
Highway; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, by adding a
subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin That segment of
marked Trunk Highway 23 within the city of Paynesville and the town of Paynesville is
designated as "Medal of Honor recipient Kenneth L. Olson Highway." Subject to section
161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and erect
appropriate signs.
