relating to higher education; appropriating money for an education debt relief
grant.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$50,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of the Office of Higher Education for a grant to Loan
Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota to provide education debt relief to attorneys
with full-time employment providing: (1) legal advice or representation to low-income
clients; or (2) support services for this work.
