  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             fund grants for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $194,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of employment and economic development to fund 
  1.8   grants to the Minnesota Employment Center for people who are 
  1.9   deaf and hard-of-hearing.  This amount is added to the budget 
  1.10  base and is available until June 30, 2005.
