  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; providing assistance 
  1.3             to Minnesota businesses seeking federal contracts; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA PROJECT INNOVATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   Department of Employment and Economic Development for a grant to 
  1.9   Minnesota Project Innovation.  The grant is to provide 
  1.10  assistance to Minnesota businesses in obtaining federal 
  1.11  contracts. 
  1.12     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.13  following final enactment.
