  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; exempting Church Lake in 
  1.3             Grant County from certain public access rights while 
  1.4             it is used for aquaculture. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC ACCESS TO CHURCH LAKE IN GRANT COUNTY 
  1.7   PROHIBITED.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding other laws or rules to the contrary, Church 
  1.9   Lake in Grant County, which has been used for aquaculture since 
  1.10  1987, is a private lake without public access for fishing or 
  1.11  other recreational purposes until such time as the lake is no 
  1.12  longer used for aquaculture. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
