  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; providing for 
  1.3             evaluation of construction aggregate located on state 
  1.4             trust lands; appropriating money; amending Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 2002, section 16A.125, by adding a 
  1.6             subdivision. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 16A.125, is 
  1.9   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 11.  [APPROPRIATION TO EVALUATE CONSTRUCTION 
  1.11  AGGREGATE POTENTIAL.] $50,000 is annually appropriated from 
  1.12  money accruing and credited to the forest suspense account to 
  1.13  the Division of Lands and Minerals in the Department of Natural 
  1.14  Resources to identify, evaluate, and lease construction 
  1.15  aggregates located on state trust lands.  The appropriation is 
  1.16  supervised and controlled by the commissioner of natural 
  1.17  resources and remains available until spent.
