A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; modifying Minnesota Forest Resources Council
reporting requirement; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 89A.03,
subdivision 6.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 89A.03, subdivision 6, is amended to read:


Subd. 6.

Biennial report.

The council must report to the governor and to the legislative
committees and divisions with jurisdiction over environment and natural resource policy
and finance by February deleted text begin 1deleted text end new text begin 15new text end of each odd-numbered year. The report must describe the
progress and accomplishments made by the council during the preceding two years.
