relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to African American
Registry.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AFRICAN AMERICAN REGISTRY.

$75,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to the
African American Registry for the Street Team program for African American, Native
American, and Hmong American youth engaging and recording their cultural and historical
similarities and differences with Minnesota elders.
