  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to 
  1.3             research pollution in fish. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION FOR FISH RESEARCH.] 
  1.6      $50,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of the pollution control agency for the 
  1.8   bioaccumulative residues research program at the University of 
  1.9   Minnesota - Duluth to research the presence of selenium in fish 
  1.10  samples it has collected.  A report on this research must be 
  1.11  made to the legislative commission on Minnesota resources.  This 
  1.12  appropriation is available until expended.
