A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; airports; requiring the commissioner of transportation
and Metropolitan Airports Commission to plan airport development in
collaboration with St. Cloud and Rochester airport boards.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin JOINT AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PLANNING.

new text begin The commissioner of transportation and the Metropolitan Airports Commission,
in collaboration with the Rochester Airport Commission and the St. Cloud Airport
Advisory Board, shall make joint plans and recommendations concerning effective and
efficient airport development at each airport. The plans and recommendations may
include the development of public ground transportation between airports. The plans
and recommendations must be submitted to the chairs and ranking minority members of
the house of representatives and senate committees and divisions with jurisdiction over
transportation by April 15, 2015.
