BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HIGH-SPEED RAIL CORRIDOR.

new text begin A high-speed rail line designed and constructed in this state to connect Chicago with
Minneapolis-St. Paul must be located in the Mississippi River corridor designated by the
commissioner of transportation and Federal Railroad Administration as the preferred route.
