  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; authorizing the 
  1.3             issuance of state bonds for publicly owned housing; 
  1.4             appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [BONDING; PUBLICLY OWNED HOUSING.] 
  1.7      (a) $....... is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to 
  1.8   the commissioner of the Minnesota housing finance agency for 
  1.9   grants to local public agencies and units of government to build 
  1.10  multiple unit publicly owned housing.  
  1.11     (b) To provide the money appropriated by this act from the 
  1.12  bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on request of 
  1.13  the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an 
  1.14  amount up to $....... in the manner, on the terms, and with the 
  1.15  effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 
  1.16  16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 
  1.17  4 to 7.
