1.2memorializing the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission to take account of energy
1.3efficiency
1.4WHEREAS, the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission was created by Laws 2005, First
1.5Special Session chapter 1, article 4, section 121, to plan and seek funding for celebrations of
1.6Minnesota's 150th anniversary of statehood; NOW, THEREFORE,
1.7BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota that it memorializes
1.8the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Commission to make all activities celebrating the State of
1.9Minnesota's Sesquicentennial as energy efficient as practicable.
1.10BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of State of the State of Minnesota is
1.11directed to prepare copies of this memorial and transmit them to the Minnesota Sesquicentennial
1.12Commission.
