A bill for an act
relating to data practices; modifying data classification for grant applications to
the State Arts Board; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13.599, by adding
a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 13.599, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding subdivision 3, responses submitted by a
grantee to the State Arts Board or to a regional arts council under chapter 129D become
public data at the public review meeting at which they are considered, except for trade secret
data as defined and classified in section 13.37.
