  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the Lake Independence natural area. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,300,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources to acquire and protect land 
  1.8   and to make improvements of a capital nature for the Lake 
  1.9   Independence natural area.  The appropriation is available until 
  1.10  expended.
