  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to crime prevention; requiring the 
  1.3             commissioner of corrections to enter into a contract 
  1.4             for housing prisoners at the Prairie Correctional 
  1.5             Facility. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [CONTRACT WITH PRAIRIE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.] 
  1.8      The commissioner of corrections shall enter into a contract 
  1.9   with the Prairie Correctional Facility under which at least 200 
  1.10  inmates will be housed within the facility by December 31, 1996.
