A bill for an act
relating to energy; appropriating money for solar energy technology development
and jobs creation; promoting a green economy.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin (a) $....... is appropriated from the money available to the Department of Commerce
under Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, for a grant to a nonprofit organization to
build capacity for solar energy technology development, rehabilitation and retrofitting
of residences, installation training, and jobs creation statewide. This grant is available
contingent on the nonprofit organization's successful registration with the secretary of state.

creation projects as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to a nonprofit
organization to build capacity for solar energy technology development, rehabilitation
and retrofitting of residences, installation training, and jobs creation statewide. This
grant is available contingent on the nonprofit organization's successful registration with
the secretary of state.
