 relating to transportation; requiring modification of roadway classification.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin TRUNK HIGHWAY 44 CLASSIFICATION.

new text begin By January 1, 2010, the commissioner of transportation shall amend the functional
classification to principal arterial for Route No. 44 and Route No. 9, marked on the
effective date of this section as Trunk Highway 44, from La Crescent to a point near
Prosper.
