  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education finance; allowing Independent 
  1.3             School District No. 51, Foley, to make a fund transfer.
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER, FOLEY.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.79 or 
  1.7   123B.80, on June 30, 2004, Independent School District No. 51, 
  1.8   Foley, may permanently transfer up to $190,000 from its reserved 
  1.9   operating capital account in its general fund to the 
  1.10  undesignated general fund balance. 
  1.11     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.12  following final enactment.
