  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; appropriating money. 
  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.5      $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.6   commissioner of human services for the purpose of extending the 
  1.7   Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mental health care 
  1.8   grants beyond April 15, 1998.  This appropriation shall be 
  1.9   available until June 30, 1999. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.11     Section 1 is effective April 15, 1998, if FEMA does not 
  1.12  extend the mental health care grants beyond April 15, 1998.
