relating to workforce development; appropriating funds to Community Priority
One for job training, job referrals, and housing assistance.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin COMMUNITY PRIORITY ONE; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $110,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Community Priority One to provide
job training, including heavy machinery operation, job referrals, and housing assistance.
Funds may be used for operating, project, training, and capacity-building costs. This is a
onetime appropriation and funds are available until June 30, 2020.
