A bill for an act
relating to health; authorizing additional ongoing funding for nursing home
moratorium exception projects; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section
144A.073, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 144A.073, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

Beginning fiscal year 2022 and each fiscal
year thereafter, the commissioner of health may approve moratorium exception projects
under this section for which the full annualized state share of medical assistance costs does
not exceed $5,000,000.
