A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; appropriating money for a grant to reimburse expenses for
certain farmers incurring crop damages.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $25,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2010 to the commissioner
of agriculture for a grant to the St. Paul Growers' Association to reimburse up to $1,000 of
membership fees for members of the association who farm in and around Dakota County
and who incurred crop damages as a result of the hail storm in that area on July 10, 2008.
