A bill for an act
relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to Lake Superior
Center Authority.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LAKE SUPERIOR CENTER AUTHORITY.

new text begin $325,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to Lake Superior Center Authority for creation of the Amazing World of the Unsalted
Seas exhibit. Lake Superior Center Authority shall use the funding to design, renovate,
construct, furnish, equip, and implement an exhibit on large lakes with themes focusing on
freshwater resources, climate change, biodiversity, and developing a better understanding
of large lakes.
