relating to human services; providing a grant for transitional housing;
appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $321,000 is appropriated for the biennium beginning July 1, 2015, from the general
fund to the commissioner of human services for a grant to an organization in Ramsey
County that serves African American males who are experiencing or have experienced
some degree of homelessness. The organization provides a comprehensive program,
including services, education, skills training, and housing, to transition clients from
homelessness to stability in both housing and employment. The grant under this section is
for transitional housing for up to 34 men who participate in the program.
