  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying the application 
  1.3             requirements for subagents selling licenses; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97A.485, subdivision 
  1.5             4. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97A.485, 
  1.8   subdivision 4, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 4.  [APPLICATION TO SELL LICENSES BY SUBAGENT.] To be 
  1.10  a subagent, a person must apply in writing to an appropriate 
  1.11  county auditor in a manner approved by the commissioner.  The 
  1.12  auditor must provide a subagent the choice either to provide a 
  1.13  bond or letter of credit for licenses on consignment, or pay for 
  1.14  licenses before furnishing the licenses.  License application 
  1.15  forms may only be furnished to subagents in groups of ten or 
  1.16  more for resident licenses and five or more for nonresident 
  1.17  licenses.
