A bill for an act
 relating to human services; requiring notice for a redetermination of eligibility
for services to disabled children; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section
252.27, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 252.27, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin The county shall provide at least a six-month
notice with regard to a redetermination of eligibility for a program under this section, in
order to provide adequate time for families to gather necessary information to determine
ongoing eligibility.
