A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Americans with Disabilities
Act compliance improvements at Veterans Park Trail in Hastings.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HASTINGS; VETERANS PARK TRAIL AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT COMPLIANCE.

new text begin $750,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Hastings to design,
construct, furnish, and equip capital improvements to the trail at Veterans Park in the city
of Hastings to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This appropriation is
available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section
16A.642. This appropriation is onetime and is available until expended subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642.
