  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; allowing certain 
  1.3             motorized vehicles that assist the disabled on 
  1.4             nonmotorized state trails; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.5             1998, section 85.018, subdivision 4. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 85.018, 
  1.8   subdivision 4, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 4.  [NONMOTORIZED USE TRAILS.] No motorized vehicle 
  1.10  shall be operated on a trail designated for nonmotorized 
  1.11  use.  This subdivision does not apply to motorized wheelchairs 
  1.12  or other motorized devices operated by an individual who is 
  1.13  physically disabled.
