A bill for an act
relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of certain tax-forfeited land that
borders public waters.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
WATER; HUBBARD COUNTY.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision
1, and the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Hubbard County
may sell by private sale the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in
paragraph (c) under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.

new text begin (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The attorney
general may make changes to the land description to correct errors and ensure accuracy.

new text begin (c) The land to be sold is located in Hubbard County and is described as: 7.56 acres
of Government Lot 9, Section 4, Township 141, Range 35, identified as parcel number
02.04.00600.
