  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to appropriations; studying the feasibility 
  1.3             of a museum for fishing artifacts; appropriating money.
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $25,000 in fiscal year 1998 is appropriated from the 
  1.7   general fund to the director of the Minnesota historical society 
  1.8   to work in conjunction with the commissioner of natural 
  1.9   resources on a feasibility study for a museum housing 
  1.10  fishing-related artifacts, equipment, and memorabilia.  Study 
  1.11  recommendations must be presented to the appropriate legislative 
  1.12  funding committees by March 1, 1998.
