relating to natural resources; appropriating money for a study on lead shot.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LEAD SHOT STUDY.

$20,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a study on the effects of lead shot on wildlife on state lands. By
January 15, 2018, the commissioner shall provide a report of the study to the chairs and
ranking minority members of the legislative committees with jurisdiction over natural
resources policy and finance.
