  1.3             appropriation for MinnesotaCare; appropriating money. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [MINNESOTACARE DEFICIENCY.] 
  1.6      $11,647,000 from the health care access fund is added to 
  1.7   the appropriations in Laws 1997, chapter 225, article 7, section 
  1.8   2, subdivision 1, as amended by Laws 1998, chapter 407, article 
  1.9   1, section 2, subdivision 3, paragraph (a), for anticipated 
  1.10  medical costs of the MinnesotaCare program for fiscal year 1999. 
  1.11     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.12     Section 1 is effective the day after its final enactment.
