A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for Midtown Greenway trail
wayfinding signage and kiosks.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MIDTOWN GREENWAY TRAIL WAYFINDING
SIGNAGE AND KIOSKS.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2010 from the parks and trails fund and $250,000 in fiscal
year 2010 from the arts and cultural heritage fund are appropriated to the commissioner of
natural resources for a grant to Hennepin County to install wayfinding signage and kiosks
at 16 locations along the Midtown Greenway trail. The signage and kiosks must respect
the historic nature of the trail corridor and incorporate public art.
