  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; modifying previous 
  1.3             appropriations; providing for a grant from the 
  1.4             transportation revolving loan fund; amending Laws 
  1.5             2000, chapter 479, article 1, section 6, subdivision 2.
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 2000, chapter 479, article 1, section 6, 
  1.8   subdivision 2, is amended to read: 
  1.9   Subd. 2.  Transportation Revolving Loan Fund         15,000,000 
  1.10  For transfer to the highway account in 
  1.11  the transportation revolving loan 
  1.12  fund.  Notwithstanding Minnesota 
  1.13  Statutes, section 446A.085, $2,500,000 
  1.14  of this amount must be used for a grant 
  1.15  to the City of Newport to match federal 
  1.16  high priority transportation project 
  1.17  funds and to pay the city's share of 
  1.18  right-of-way acquisition and 
  1.19  construction costs related to the 
  1.20  Wakota bridge reconstruction project.
