relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a summer youth program
for deaf students.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $19,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $19,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a
grant to the Minnesota Conservation Corps (MCC) to be used for learning stipends for
deaf students and wages for interpreters participating in the MCC summer youth program.
The appropriation for fiscal year 2008 is available May 1, 2007, and the appropriation for
fiscal year 2009 is available May 1, 2008.
