relating to game and fish; requiring rulemaking to modify arrow requirements for
taking big game.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The commissioner of natural resources must amend Minnesota Rules, part 6232.0100,
subpart 7, item C, subitem (1), to remove the requirement that retractable broadheads used
to take big game must be no more than two inches in width at or after impact with a big
game animal. The commissioner may use the good cause exempt rulemaking procedure
under Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388, and Minnesota Statutes, section 14.386, does not
apply, except as provided in Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388.
