  1.3             the Great Lakes Commission. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $6,600,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2004 from the 
  1.7   general fund to the Great Lakes Commission for Minnesota's share 
  1.8   to build a second large lock between Lakes Superior and Huron at 
  1.9   Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, on the St. Mary's River.
